Welcome

In October of 2022 I took the plunge to prove to people I was not funny. I had an absolute blast. 

My whole life I have loved to make people laugh. Even if that meant I was being awkward or silly, I just knew I greatly enjoyed it. When I was young I used to be amazed by how the comedians could get the crowd to forget, even just for a moment, their troubles. 

Being a dad to 7, yes 7 children, has given me a great outlook and lots of material. But there is no greater title I can hold but dad. Being the age I am, and overcoming some rough obstacles in life I decided to try my hand in stand up comedy, just to prove to some that I was just not funny at all. I was able to get a hold of Showtime Comedy in St Catharines, Ontario and booked a set on stage. In October of 2022 I was called for the first time on to the stage. Having some anxiety, I was very nervous and was 100% sure I was going to bomb and be able to say "see, I am not funny!!". As I got into comedy to prove to some people I was not funny. But fortunately that did not happen. I was taken, on how supportive the fellow comedians that night were. I was not sure what my next steps were to be. Fast forward to January of 2023 I went up for my second time and I have been hooked ever since. My youngest child has also gotten the Comedy bug, Ronald Warren is Canada's youngest comedian (started just after his 9th birthday)! It is so amazing to take this journey with Ronald!

On July 16th 2026 John Law interviewed Ronald and myself for a local paper. Then July 18th our story made front cover of all the newspapers in the Niagara area. On July 30th 2026 we went on CHCH Morning Live in Hamilton then later that day we filmed our story for CHCH Newsmakers with Rick Zamperin. It truly has been an amazing ride so far!

I have had the incredible pleasure of opening for the likes of Kyle Lucey, Jason Allen as well as the Garden City Comedy Festival and many others. I am a multiple award and contest winner. 2026 Laugh-in Comedy Series finalist and I received the Platinum Award for Live Entertainment and also the Gold for Entertainer in the 2026 Community Votes awards in Niagara area. 

My greatest win though is the laughter I receive from any crowd, it does not matter if there is only one or two in the crowd or a sold out show. I give every performance 100%.

I have also shifted into hosting and producing shows and events as well as small (for now) acting bits. All this is allowing me to keep pushing myself to bigger and greater things!

I am looking forward to this chapter in my life and very excited for this journey and so much more as my youngest has gotten into stand up as well (he started when he was 9!)

I would like to give a big thank you to everyone who has supported me in this chapter. Fellow comedians, friends, family and especially to my wife and children who have understood and had patience and lots of love for me. I love each and every one of you.
